Our journey began when Anna’s husband, John, concluded his 18-year military career, serving in units such as the Coldstream Guards, the Welsh Guards, 7 Parachute Regiment, and the Gurkha regiment in Brunei. Transitioning to a security contractor role in Iraq, John realised the financial potential of his new career. However, his colleagues often struggled with tax-related matters. Anna stepped in to assist them with their tax returns, laying the foundation for Whittaker & Co.
While John continued his work in Iraq for another 9 years, Whittaker & Co steadily expanded its client base. Our reputation for providing practical advice and excellent customer service continued to grow. Since our establishment in 2004, Whittaker & Co has developed into a dedicated team of tax advisors, accountants, and account managers committed to meeting our clients’ accounting needs, assisting clients working overseas and in the UK, and guiding them towards tax-efficient solutions.
