We pride ourselves on being incredibly approachable, and believe there is no such thing as a "stupid question". We understand that not everyone is au fait with figures and accounting terminology, so you may have many questions you'd like to ask, which is more than fine with us!

When meeting new clients, one of the first questions we ask is, "how is business?". You'd be surprised at how many don't actually know. I mean, they have an idea, naturally, working it all day, every day, but they don't know so much about the detail, and what the figures within their accounts actually mean.

Although your accounts are ultimately the final product of the service in which we provide, before coming to us, these have proven meaningless to some clients, because they just haven't had them explained to them. Having an understanding of your accounts is so important, and not just for the obvious reasons. Your accounts aren't just prepared and filed because HMRC make it a requirement, they are a tool; a tool you equip you and your business with in order to grow and plan for the future. Your accounts will be required when you wish to obtain a mortgage, or when your business requires funding for it's next project, or wishes to purchase it's own commercial premises. Whatever your future plans, your accounts will likely hold the key.
