A Management Buy In (MBI) refers to a transaction where someone external to the organisation is identified to lead the purchase from the existing stakeholders.
A Vendor Initiated Buy Out (VIMBO) is a blueprint by the owner to sell to management at a predetermined value, over an agreed timeframe and often involves the vendor arranging the appropriate finance.
