Lisa Stedman founded Stedman Accounting Ltd in the summer of 2020 following a 20 year career working for several different accountancy practices including a top 15 accountancy firm. Lisa began her career as a receptionist and through hard work and dedication first achieved the AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualification before going on to study the ACA (Association of Chartered Accountants) certification. All these benchmarks were achieved while working a full time position. Studying can be particularly exhausting and it is testament to Lisa’s time management and organisation that meant she was able to do this while overseeing entire departments with several members of staff reporting to her.
Lisa has now been a qualified Chartered Accountant for well over a decade. In the 3 years since Stedman Accounting was formed, it has gone from strength to strength and is well on its way to assisting 100 clients. Lisa has huge experience in all of the vital areas of accounting and has helped support businesses in a vast variety of sectors. She enjoys dealing with the different problems and challenges that businesses can face, but more than that she thrives on the personal interaction that is to be gained when supporting clients.
Lisa has lived in Chichester her whole life and she has a great passion for the local area. Knowing the area so well has its obvious advantages and understanding the local community she believes is comforting to her clients.
Lisa lives with her husband and their young son in Summersdale, Chichester. The family shares a common passion for sport, particularly cricket and football so when she is not working hard for clients she can either be found watching the cricket or kicking a football about in the back garden!
