About The Firm

Our story began in 2010 when Natalie Colbourne identified a growing need among law firms to outsource their legal bookkeeping. This demand was driven by factors such as limited resources, firm sizes, and a shortage of reliable service providers. Legal Bookkeeping was established to meet this need, offering a more efficient solution for law firms. Natalie started offering legal bookkeeping services to SOS.

By 2023, LegalKeepers expanded its services to support clients using alternative software platforms including SOS and PracticeEvolve. With a rapidly growing client base exceeding 400 users, Natalie and her team conducted a thorough market analysis. They uncovered a key challenge: firms using various legal software platforms lacked access to expert bookkeeping professionals with financial expertise. This discovery prompted us to extend our services to law firms using any legal software, including PracticeEvolve, Actionstep, Clio, Smokeball, ALB, Tikit, Leap, and more.
