Kidsons Ltd is a firm of chartered accountants founded in 2013, led by Derek Phillips FCA MBA, based in Richmond, North Yorkshire, working with you wherever you are.

We are authorised and regulated by the ICAEW, one of the approved legal services regulators in England & Wales.

Besides obtaining probate, we can help you plan your own estate to potentially maximise it's value for your chosen beneficiaries. Alternatively, should you be an Executor or Administrator wanting support at any stage, we can help you with that too.

Professional standards require us to inform you of details of our Professional Indemnity Insurance, the ICAEW Probate Compensation Scheme, our Customer Complaints process with redress to the ICAEW, and also where relevant the Legal Ombudsman should your complaint not be remedied properly.

For every engagement, we will document the above details within an engagement letter setting out what we have agreed to do for you, what you will need to do in return, indicating timelines and checkpoints, the basis of fee-charging, along with our general terms and conditions
