About The Firm
Hewitt Accountancy Ltd is owned and managed by Peter Hewitt. Peter is an ICAEW qualified Chartered Accountant. Peter completed his training as an accountant in Birmingham with Price Waterhouse Coopers and initially spent 8 years with PwC working in the audit and business advisory practice. After taking a 2 year sabbatical, during which time Peter travelled extensively and worked as the accountant for a Charity in Uganda, he joined Lloyds Bank plc in his home town of Bristol.Peter spent the next 18 years in a wide variety of senior management Finance roles within the Group Finance and Commercial Banking Divisions of Lloyds Banking Group plc.After this, Peter decided to return to private practice and set up Hewitt Accountancy Ltd to provide a more direct and tangible benefit to his customers’ financial affairs.
