About The Firm

BoltBooks was founded in 2021 by Luke Disley on the back of several years heading up the bookkeeping department at one of Cheshire’s leading accountancy firms, and most recently as the Finance Manager for a multi-million pound turnover SME. This blend of experience in both accountancy practice and the internal workings of an owner-managed business is crucial for both compliance and the practicalities of running the finances of an SME.

Having discovered Xero back in 2016, Luke decided to get ahead of the curve and specialise in this software. He was immediately successful in gaining the Xero Certified Advisor qualification and swiftly became the trusted expert within the practice. Xero is the world’s leading cloud-based accounting platform, the most user friendly and it links seamlessly with a large number of incredibly useful apps.

Now based just outside the city of Chester, Luke aspires to work with likeminded business owners with reliability, approachability and honest communication at the forefront of everything BoltBooks does.
