About The Firm

Brendan is an experienced tax specialist. After graduating from Queen’s University Belfast with a First Class Honours Degree in Accounting, he completed his training with Grant Thornton in Belfast. He then availed of an opportunity to join the firm’s London office for a three year term working their Corporate and International tax teams. A period in industry followed as UK Holding Companies Tax Adviser with Shell International Ltd and then Assistant Tax Controller for Europe with General Electric Consumer Finance, Dublin.

Since returning to Belfast, Brendan has focused his tax expertise on general practice. This led him to set up BD Morris and Co in 2004 before merging with DTM, a practice of similar dimensions and ambition, to create BDM in 2008. He has applied his mix of commercial and practice experience in developing a comprehensive range of bespoke services designed specifically for the owner managed business.
