About The Firm

After completing my BSc in Finance, I qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant and later completed my MBA in Finance. Over the years, I worked my way up from assistant accountant to financial controller for a company turning over more than £70 million.

Then came Covid. Like many others, I was made redundant. What felt like a setback at the time gave me the push I needed to pursue my long-held dream of running my own business.

In 2020, I launched a TaxAssist Accountants franchise, growing it steadily while supporting a wide range of clients. By October 2025, I decided to go independent, and that’s when AVMK Accountants was founded.

Today, AVMK Accountants works primarily with owner-managed businesses who want proactive support, clarity, and peace of mind, not last-minute surprises.
