If you haven’t worked with an accountant before, it’s easy to start. We will discuss your needs and agree which services you would like us to provide. If you decide to go ahead, we’ll meet to complete the required identity verification and due diligence process. Signing a Letter of Engagement confirms the details. You’ll authorise us to act as your agent for tax purposes with HMRC. You can do this either digitally or using a paper form.
If you already have an accountant but have decided to change, it’s just as easy. You simply settle any outstanding bills and let them know in writing we’ll be in touch. They must tell us what they have done to date, provide relevant information and confirm key dates. It’s a formality, but they must also confirm we can appropriately take over your accounts.
