AIM Accounting is owned and managed by Phil Middlehurst, supported by a small team of mature accounting professionals.

Between us we have over 50 years experience in accounting, taxation and payroll, garnered in all types and size of business.

Phil Middlehurst

I have lived in Ashton most of my life, attending Ashton Grammar School (now Byrchall High) in the 1970s, and qualifying as an accountant at Wigan & Leigh College.  I now live and work on Princess Road (opposite Lidl, so easy to park for up to 1.5 hours if you need to pop in!)

I am a practicing accountant and taxation technician, specialising in personal tax, corporation tax and VAT.  I have over 35 year experience, with positions ranging from Company Secretary and Finance Director through Group Financial Controller of a publicly listed property company, through to Practice Manager in accounting practice.

My ethos is totally customer driven- I am from the old school where the customer is always right!
