A business entity can only be eligible for reclaiming VAT if it is VAT-registered. That is, if your VAT-taxable turnover crosses the £90,000 threshold within a 12-month period, you must register for VAT. Notably, VAT-taxable turnover is the total value of everything your company sells that is not VAT-exempt.
